Nancy C. Adelis, SPHR

Nancy C. Adelis is President of Adelis Development Systems, an east coast based performance consulting firm. Founded in 1991, her company specializes in improving productivity through business-driven human resource programs. In addition, as an Associate of Training House / HRD Press, Adelis Development Systems offers a complete process for building managerial competency, a “must” in a bottom-line driven business environment.

Ms. Adelis has served as an instructor / guest speaker for the School of Business, Loyola College, and the Management Institute of the School of Business Administration of Rowan State College. She served as Chair of the Arts and Sciences Advisory Committee for Brunswick Community College. She has been an invited speaker for the Princeton Personnel Association and the Institute for International Research. She has presented at National ASTD and Regional SHRM Conferences.

Prior to founding Adelis Development Systems, Ms. Adelis was the Director of Human Resources for PA Consulting Group, an international technology consulting firm, and held similar positions with Hoffmann-LaRoche, RCA-Sarnoff Center, and the US Office of Personnel Management. She has more than twenty-five years’ experience in Training, HR and Organization Development.

Ms. Adelis holds a Master’s Degree from New York University, is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management, where she is certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources. She has been selected by the Who’s Who in Business Executives 2001-2002. She is on the Board of Directors for WAVES4K.I.D.S a non-profit organization in support of children in distressed situations.

Bonnie M. Westbrook

Bonnie M. Westbrook, a management consultant and trainer for Adelis Development Systems, has more than 30 years of Federal Government experience, primarily in the human resources, training, and organizational development fields. Prior to joining Adelis Development, she served as Assistant Bureau Chief for Management, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). With a staff of 22, she managed the Bureau’s personnel, training, budget, planning, program reporting, and administrative support programs.

Prior to joining the FCC, Ms. Westbrook worked in a variety of leadership positions for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Treasury Department’s Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). In both management and specialist positions, she functioned as an internal consultant regarding organizational effectiveness, human resources, and employee relation issues.

Specifically in the performance management arena, she has developed performance appraisal and recognition systems for two federal agencies, including the training to implement the systems, and coached managers on dealing with performance and conduct problems.

Ms. Westbrook earned her Masters Degree and Advanced Graduate Specialist Degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland. She has presented at the National American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Conference, local ASTD chapter conferences, the Training Officers Conference, Organizational Development Network, and U.S. Office of Personnel Management Personnel Management Evaluation Conference.

Stephanie M. Scotti

As an Associate with Adelis Development Systems, Ms. Scotti brings more than twenty five years of both public and private sector experience, her consulting experience includes Beneficial Finance, Coopers & Lybrand, PSE&G, Frigidaire, International Paper, Lucent Technologies, AT&T, Shell Chemical Company, Duke University, First Union National Bank, IBM ,Merck & Company, National Association of Convenience Stores, National Institutes of Health.

Her services include:

  • designing and producing business-to-business multi-media communication campaigns,
  • designing and administering feedback/measurement systems,
  • designing and implementing learning and organizational development interventions

In addition, Ms Scotti is a professional speech coach, whose goal for the client is to become comfortable “in his or her own skin.” Her approach is collaborative and respectful, which enables individuals, employees, managers, and leaders to master skills they will use every day that will boost performance and achieve results.

Prior to her consulting position, Ms. Scotti was a Creative Director for a major performance improvement company and an internal consultant on performance and quality issues. Ms. Scotti holds a Masters Degree from Florida State University in organizational communications and management. She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and the National Speakers Association.

Marilyn Elyakin

Ms. Elyakin comes to Adelis Development Systems directly from the corporate headquarters of Training House, where she served in a variety of capacities for more than thirteen years. In her role there, she supervised the finance and production departments, while assisting the field Associates in managing their client base. As a result, she is the resident expert on many of the Training House / HRD Press Products and services.

In her capacity with Adelis Development Systems, Ms. Elyakin services the clients whose special needs stem from the Training House product. She also conducts and scores the Managerial Assessment of Proficiency.

Ms. Elyakin holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Brooklyn College and has over 16 years experience in the training field. Her efforts enabled Adelis Development Systems to be named Number #1 Sales / Consulting Organization for 2001 and 2002 by Training House / HRD Press.
